I need somebody who is using 2.0 RTM Membership with a dev machine located
in GMT (-06:00) Central Time.
I just want to confirm if your users are being added to aspnet_Users 6 hours
into the future which is my experience.
I also want to learn if your database has two instances of a user added to
aspnet_Users when the user is added to a role.

This has been happening to me on two different machines. One machine had
earlier instances of the 1.1 and Beta 2 including Visual Studio 2003 and SQL
Server 2000. Okay, I conceded, there must be some left over garbage that is
causing a conflict.

So I installed Visual Studio Pro and SQL Server 2005 on a clean disk that
only had the 1.1 framework installed with no previous instances of Beta 2 or
any instance Visual Studio or SQL Server and the same thing is occurring.
This is driving me crazy.

Clinton,

Beside inside Microsoft there has never been a 2.0 RTM membership version.

So the change that somebody is using that is very low.

Do you maybe mean the final release of 2.0?

Can we skip the quibbling? I have a serious problem that has prevented me
from continuing to develop my application that depends on Membership.

Clinton,

If you ask a serious question, than ask is as a serious question and than
not added with all kind of childish even wrong pseudo expert additions.

With a right answer you can expect a good answer.

Your question can be simple as

Who is using the latest release of Visual Studio Net while he/she is located
in GMT - 06:00.

(Setting the clock of the system is by the way as well an easy option, but
than you should have added your system language-culture setting).

Just my thought,

Cor
