Is AIW 9600 pro flawed as a new buy?

I like AIW 9600 PRO's multimedia feature, however, it does not have a
DVI connection for my flat panel display, will the difference be obvious
if i am forced to use the VGA connection?

Depends on your display. Some yes, some no.
