I've spent 2hrs searching trying to find the answer to this:

Using simple example - a building surveyor has to report on the condition
of commercial and residential properties.
With Access it is a simple matter to generate a list for a specific type of
building. Access is being considered to ensure that the list is complete
and that every item is addressed. Generating Word templates would be
tedious and there is a requirement to produce specific reports e.g
Condition of windows, Items requiring repair etc.
The problem now starts to emerge.
Against an item the surveyor may want to record 20 words, 500 words, a
table, a picture, a picture and words, or.........

so the "transaction table" has a text field "item" and an OLE object
"comments"

And the problem /question is:
Is it possible through VB or activex controls to produce reports from access
where the height of the OLE frame expands to fit the object?

Should I have posted to microsoft.public.access.reports?

Thanks
