Is a powerpoint reader required?

Good Morning -

I have a PPT presentation that will be put online (as an attachment or
embedded into a page) - is it required to have a PPT reader installed to view
these slideshows or is there anyway to not have that happen?

To view a PPT file, each user has to have PowerPoint itself or the free Viewer.

But you can save your PPT presentation as a web page (File, Save as Web Page)
and upload the files to your web site.
