Is 68Hz possible?

My monitor supports up to 68Hz at 1600x1200, but windows, or my ATI
drivers won't allow anything but 60 or 70. 60 is too low, and 70 is not
possible. Any advice?

68Hz is probably too low as well... if your monitor cannot do even 75Hz at
1600x1200, it can't do 1600x1200... lost cause, use a lower resolution, your
eyes will appreciate it.

68hz mean 60hz in the real world...

but yeah... your monitor isn't really designed for 1600x1200...

BTW: I can run 1900x1400 in 75hz on my monitor... but its a bit too
small.. ;)

powerstrip allowed me to do exactly that ie- 68Hz.
For the desktop its too hard on the eyes though. For games its ok.

or setup 1600x1024 - you might get 70Hz+

I have AOC 7GLR 17"

512K of video ram was a lot? Wow I can remember my first HGA (Hercules
Graphics Adapter), I think it came with a whole 4K!

Powerstrip will work but I've had monitors start to blur when near their
bandwidth limit. I wouldn;t bother with it, just try 1280x960 or 1280x1024
imho.
