Or can I adjust this? I was hoping it will be long as I have free disk
space. I have 120 GB free to use for TV-on-Demand. Thank you in
advance. :)

Probably the limit for a single file on your hard drive that is cutting
in... not the hardware.

That is my biggest partition (I: drive). I have 80 GB free. :(

Are you saying I need to defrag?

oh your looking at the timed recording setting? you can set the timed recording to whatever

For TV-On-Demand. The recording manually and through scheduler are fine.
It is the TV-On-Demand I am talking about. The one that lets you record
TV feed live, pause it, rewind it, etc. and still record.

could you tell me exactly where you see the 5 minute limit. iow what window in the setup routine.
What have you set your temporary drive to? how much space have you instructed the software to leave on that drive?

I don't use the temporary drive feature. I just let it go ahead and store in
my I:\videos\recorded\ folder (I have about 80 GB free). The five minutes is in
the little graph in TV program. The graph goes all the way to the right (filled)
after five minutes. Maybe I have this misconfigured?

WOW....you just showed me a major problem with my install, when I use that feature SERIOUS echo problems with audio, video is fine,
further analysis is in order, Anyway the 5 minutes I believe your referring to is as much time AHEAD it records or as far BACK as
you can go, I believe that's the limit.

LOL. Did you manage to fix your problem?

Darn on the five minutes limit for TV-On-Demand. :) I wonder if there is a hack to change
this limitation.

Here's how to set the TV-on-demand limit:

TV Setup - Personal Video Recorder - One Touch Recording -

Mine is set for 30 and that's what I get.

bg

Fixed the damn problem still exist from back as far as my 128 pro AIW the echo is produced from the dual audio channels that ATI
uses to make the TV ON DEMAND to function. The fix is to turn off(audigy 2 plat) WAV MP3 source and leave only Line in source
activated.

Mine is set up as 1 hour. However, the PVR's bar graph still only shows 5
minutes.

Ah! I will keep to that in mind. I did notice the echo problem while trying to increase
my line in volume. It is still not high enough though. Oh well. I have a SB Live card.
