Irreversible error, close and open powerpoint

Hi
I've got a new Pc with Winxp Pro and Office97 pro.
My problem is while clicking on the combobox to change
font or the dimension of the text. An error occured:
"Irreversible error, close and open powerpoint"
(I translate the error from Italian to english).
I also try to remove and install again office but
powerpoint doesn't work corractly.
Another information, if I'm login in with another user
powerpoint work correctly. Both users have admin rights.
If someone need more information, please ask me!

When logged in as the user with this problem, do you have a printer driver
installed and set as the default printer? Is it a local printer driver (ie,
not one on the network)? If not, you're likely to get the problem you
described.
