irratic presentation quality

I have produced a presentation using PP2000 which has
images and sound files burnt onto a CD. However, when I
run the presentation on different PCs using PPviewer97 I
find that sometimes slide backgrounds or images black out
and sometimes the embeded font is substituted!!! I tried
the new viewer2003 but unfortunately although the
presentation looks better the sound files don't play. Any
suggestions?

I raised the same issue earlier and got the response that there's a bug in
PPV 2003. See the very end of this reference -

I tried it and it worked. But I still have a problem PPV getting hung up
eventually and failing to advance. See my posting from yesterday entitled
"PP Viewer 2003 doesn't advance to next slide"
