I have recently doubled the ammount of RAM from 256 Mb to
512 Mb now and again i seen to get blue screens with the
error message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL**** and a long bit
of text - if i only use 256 Mb of RAM my computer runs
fine without getting the blue screen of death, there are
no sent patterns to the blue screens

Unless the second stick of RAM is Faulty, which i doubt,
as the computer will run fine with either one of them in
but not both

So if one of you talented people out there can offer some
words of wisdom and help me to resolve my blue screens of
death, it would be appreicated

Thanks Adrian

Hi

Try the following link to Jim Eshelman's page - for your error message:

"0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

Do your memory modules match exactly? If you're not sure,
download EVEREST from
http://www.lavalys.com/index.php?page=product&view=1&subpage=5
and run it to find out.

Does your mainboard have three memory slots? If so, try
using the outside ones.
