is there any way to change IRQ in win xp? ANY way?

Yes, but only by disabling ACPI in the BIOS and then doing a repair
installation. You should then gain manual control over your IRQ's, but
you'll lose the ability to turn off from within windows... You'll get the
"You can now turn off" screen instead. Modern PCI devices can share IRQ's
quite well, although Creative Labs sounds cards have been know to have some
issues with this, what specific problem are you having? There may be a
better option for you...

ive got a problem on booting my laptop with the wlan-pc-card inserted.
ive tried to exactly similar pcs, with different os, and two types of
wlan-cards, but it seems to crash with the onboard lan.. if the wlan card
isnt inserted when i boot everything goes fine, but if it is inserted i
freezes during boot. ive altso gotten a bluescreen with the message
IRQ_EQUAL_OR_LESS or something like that but that was with a SMC card.. im
now using a 3com card, and this makes my laptop freeze during the winxp
loading screen.. i also have to use the onboard lan at home and the wlan at
school so i need both..

Sounds more like a driver issue than an IRQ issue. NIC's don't normally
have any problems with IRQ sharing. Check the manufacturers website for the
WLAN card to see if there are any updated drivers and even any know issues
with XP...
