The help file for Irfanview says that the slide show can be paused and
restarted by using the "pause" key. Does anyone know what the
Irfanview pause key is?

That'll be the "Pause|Break" key....probably between your main keys
and the number pad.

Hey Vic

On my keyboard it is the top-right key (pause/break). It did pause, then
restart the Irfanview slideshow. Personally, I prefer the slideshow that
Windows XP produces.

From the Help file: "How to pause an automatic slideshow? Just press the
Pause key. Press the pause key again to restart the slideshow." My
interpretation of "automatic" is the slideshow has been saved as a file.

Duh, the Pause/Break key!! OK, brain is back in gear.

I thought they were talking about some Ctrl-key combination like
Ctrl-S.

Thanks to all for bringing me back to earth.
