Not true. The history link describes 3.85 changes in detail. As for it
going back to Tucows, that's becaue Tucows provides space on their
server for the download. Other download sites are here:

When I made this post last night, the history had NOT been updated.

Yeah, he's got some kind of agreement with TUCOWS to let them release it
first, a day or two ahead of him and the rest of the world.

Aw, c'mon; any linux user will tell you there's a zillion better GNU or
open source alternatives.(Anyone wants to flame ne about mentioning GNU or

Not if they're honest. Oh, there are satisfactory alternatives, but
Irfanview is superior. Xnview, however, is cross-platform...and as I
said, is a satisfactory alternative.

WOW!! Thanks for that as I am defiantly missing irfanview. Very nice
indeed.

Incidentally, what are you doing on the darkside ;)

There are two games that I like that are unavailable in Linux. They
are both text-based sports sims. Would be easy to port...if I had the
knowledge :) Unfortunately, neither are open source nor freeware.

Exactly.

I'll have a peek at it. Thanks.

I'm not impressed with wine at all. Besides, I am trying to stick
to native apps...on principle. };O)
Most of the apps I attempted to run on Wine behaved as if they were a
bit tipsy anyway.
