Hello all,

I am trying to write an IrDA sniffer that can 'listen in' into the
conversation of two other IrDA devices. I would like to display the
'sniffed' data on the screen of my PDA. The communication I would like to
listen into is between a notebook and the Polar S720i pulse watch. I want to
write my own protocol for the undocumented watch so I can integrate it with
other programs.

Is something like an IrDA sniffer possible at all?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

Check out this link for a IrDA listener/sender. I also know that if
you look on Handango.com, there is a program out there to grab data
from Polar HRMs.

Thanks, I downloaded the software!
(However, the first thing it told me was that the 15 day trial period was
now over! More like 15 seconds :P)

The good thing is, that it seems so that it can be done. I found a way to
connect now, but still get weird values back from my watch.
I'll get there!

Thanks again.
