I would like to know how to set up IE to handle IRC protocol hyperlinks (beginning with "irc://") so that it will launch my IRC client (mIRC) instead of coming up as an invalid syntax error.

BTW this is not an IE problem. If there is a newsgroup for your mirc
application you should try there because I think the application should
create these settings for you when you install it or repair it.
