Any ideas on how to remove this trojan? It's a persistant little devil that anti virus packages don't seem to be able to remove.

Make sure you disable system restore and then run your Antivirus.
Go into Control Panel--System and look on the System Restore tab.
Tick the box labelled "Turn off System Restore on all drives"
Run you AV program
Turn System Restore back on

AV programs cannot clean virii that are in the system resotre data.
