IPX over Internet

We are trying to play Europa 1400: The Guild. The TCP/IP
code is not even in but it plays fine on a LAN.

We've tried the Zone LAN custom game rooms and Kali.

We both have Windows XP Home. Would it make sense to
setup a VPN to run IPX? Can we do that? What about SPX?
I know very little about it.

What might some other options be to establish a solid LAN
IPX capable across the country?

Searching Google for "IPX gaming over Internet" comes up
with lots of hits that appear to offer solutions, you may
want to check them out to see if they would work for
you...
