Greetings...

I have a legacy application that uses IPX and basically runs as a DOS
program.
This works fine under Win 95 and Win98, but under Win 2k and XP cannot
find the IPX interface, or create sockets. Recoding this to use Winsock is
not an option.

Is there any way to make the old-style IPX protocol available on 2k or XP?

Thanks in advance.

Possibly a frame type problem? Try setting the frame type manually.

win2k ,xp OS do not support 16 DOS, YOU CAN COPY SOME FILES USED IN WINDOWS 98 to win2k system root , %systemroot %/winnt ,maybe work!

Whats preventing you from installing the IPX protocol? On the otherhand
if you have it installed and it won't find it, I'd say contact the
program vendor.
