Looking for a freeware version of Kali... or something similiar that will
emulate IPX Over ip for Windows 2000.. any ideas?

It would help to explain that Kali is used for playing multiplayer
LAN-based (IPX) games over the internet.

Found this with a quick web search. Don't know if it's any good.

right, should have said that.. Kahn doesn't work on Win2000... but thank you
regardless...

any other suggestions? I'm all googled out...

If you have WinXP you can use VPN to play IPX/TCP games via internet
