IPSec and ICS

I have a ADSL modem connected to a Win2000 PC, which is
part of an ICS network (connected by 3Com HUB). From one
of the PCs I need to make a connection via VPN, which
requires IPSec.

Accrding to

it doesn't work for windows 98 and SE.
So, does it work for 2000? if so, how? if not, how to
solve the networking issue without hardware change?

I do not believe that l2tp will not work with ICS which uses NAT and requires
certificates for machine autehntication. You might try pptp or ipsec tunneling which
is not the easiest to set up and troubleshoot [ipsec]. --- Steve
