Hi ,
I'm running vista RTM ultimate
Each time I connect my Ipod vista wants to run a scan of my "disk", I
select don't scan and procede .
But It's quite annoying . I suppose it should recognize the IPOD and do
not ask for a HD scan to fix it.
Is there a way to fix such annoyance ?
Thanks
Stefano

Stefano--

I've been using Ipod with Vista for builds back into the summer and my
friends have for every build. What exactly are you seeing? Precisely what
error? Is your Ipod showing up in Itunes are being prevented with some
error? You have the latest update for Itunes don't you, which includes the
latest update for the Ipod within it?

What dialogue box is coming up as to a disc scan? Is your Ipod showing up
in Device Manager when you plug in the Ipod to the box?

I have no problem in using IPOD . Itunes works correctly , except for a
random vc++ error .
The only issue is the when I connect the IPOD vista recognize it as disk and
want to perform a scan on it

I'm already using the latest Itunes version

The IPod shows up under Disk Drives as "Apple Ipod USB Device"
Its driver version 6.0.6000.16386
