This one is really for Quad/Abarbarian and Urmus or anybody that is hooked up on Linux.
I have really started to get into Linux and was wondering does anybody have any idea's of installing Linux in a iPhone/iPod touch ?
Even though I own an iMac I would really like to play around and get rid of the apple software on my iTouch. Any ideas ? I have seen a few vids on 'tube, but most are by 3 year olds that know sweet FA....:D

3 years back folks were playing with their toys and there is plenty of info on the web, not sure where they stand in terms of usefulness. Apple will not open the doors so easily. Anyway will keep an eye and post if I find something useful or worthwhile.

"Running a custom version of Ubuntu on your iPhone or iPod Touch may sound crazy but it’s yet another example of the versatile and adaptable nature of Linux as a whole. "

I really need a way to sync my iPod touch with Linux. I can't use SSH-no wireless internet. I can't get iTunes to work with Wine. Does anyone have suggestions to make it work?

[mucks edit ... link removed, don't spam, and go get Windows ... have a nice day, plonker  ]
