I rebuilt my computor and I can't find my disk for the ipod nano
software. Is there someplace where I can download this for free?

The more stripped down the software is the better. I only play my Mp3
on this and don't want to do anything else with it.

The Apple iPod Updater can be located here.
http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

To download you will have to sign-in with your Apple ID. If you don't
have an ID you should be able to easily sign-up for one.
