My old pc got "fried" and the new pc I purchased came with Vista. Is there
any way to get files from an Ipod to the p.c.?

Conventionally no. I don't know if you could take tha flash drive apart
(Nano) HD (IIpod) and transfer with special equipment.

Can't beat the suggestion of iPod Access to 'do the do', but I can say be
******* careful connecting a full iPod to an 'empty' copy of iTunes.
Someone I know, had their iPod set to auto-sync with their iTunes music
collection, and when they inadvertantly connected it to a different computer
with a fresh installation if iTunes (ie empty music collection) it
apparently zapped all the music on their iPod. Now I don't know if this was
some kind of glitch or bug. It was a couple of years ago, but thought I'd
mention it as a warning anyway...
