Is there a fix that will allow me to use my Ipod with with Vista 64.
Apple seem to be very vague about it, but Itunes will not find my Ipod.
Going on holiday soon, so need it sorting!
Any help greatly appreciated

Since Apple is 100% responsible for developing drivers/software
for its products, you'll need to contact them for advice.

Call Apple and ask for a supervisor tech and ask him what the name of
the .inf file is needed for the ipod. It took me a few weeks to get to
the bottom of it but it turns out that there ia a file missing from
Vista 64 that is present in Vista 32. I just copied it from another
machine and all worked fine but I don't remember the file name.

good luck

Thanks Marjay. Looked promising until I ran into Apple tech support. My call
lasted for 35 minutes whilst they ran through their scripts of standard
questions. As many times as I read your email to them, they didn't want to
listen. They are supposed to be emailing me back, but I'm not holding my
breath!
If you can remember at all that file name, you could seriously help.
Thanks
Pete

Did you ask for a supervisor?? Otherwise you are talking to someone
from "New Delhi" and as much as they try to help, they just don't have
a clue. I spent a few hours before the supervisor (ask for escalation)
I wish I could remember the name of the .inf file but I can't. Good
luck and persevere, I'm sure someone knows it.
