Ipod Mini and transfering paid for puretracks from Windows MP

I downloaded from the puretracks site and paid for 12 songs which I now want
to transfer to my Apple Ipod mini...it keeps telling me that the .wma isn't
copying over why?
 
Because Apple doesn't want you to move them to their hardware. :\ You would
have to burn them to a CD's using iTunes, then re-rip the tracks in AAC or
MP3. At this point you have lost so much audio quality it's not even funny.
