Find this error in system event viewer after every restart, often in
multiples of two or four:

IPNATHLP ERROR 32003
The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to request an operation of
the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration,
insufficient resources, or an internal error.

I can't find anything about it in the Knowledge Base or support center.

Running XP Home with ICS wireless ad-hoc and Zone Alarm. Everything works.
IPNATHLP.DLL is in c:windows\system32

Any way to eliminate this error? It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but those
bid red Xs scare me ;>)

Update: I did find KB article 293497 which suggests changing the subnet mask
of the wireless adapter, 255.255.255.0, to make it the same as the ethernet
card hooked to the cable modem, which is auto-assigned and currently
255.255.252.0.

That didn't eliminate the problem, which occurs whether or not the laptop
down the hall is turned on.

The wireless NIC in the desktop uses 192.168.0.1, the laptop is
auto-assigned.

Don't know if it's related, but I also have a built-in firewire connection
on my desktop that is not being used. It shows up in network connections and
I disabled file sharing and tcp/ip just in case. Disabling the device
itself makes no difference to the error message.
