Could anyone please tell me where I can purchase outlook express for my iPAQ
6915 which I recently bought? I think I'm going mad as I have looked on
microsoft website and HP iPAQ but am unable to find where I can buy.

Many Thanks

Outlook Express can't be purchased or downloaded. It's part of Internet
Explorer and the Windows operating systems.

And to add to what Tom posted, OE will not work with your iPAQ

And on top of what Tom said, even if you could, it wouldn't run on an iPAQ.

What do you think you need OUTLOOK Express for? As the others have said this is not what you want for the IPAQ. It comes with Pocket OUTLOOK which syncs with Microsoft OUTLOOK on the PC. Microsoft OUTLOOK on the PC is part of Microsoft OFFICE and is not the same product as OUTLOOK EXPRESS which comes as part of the OS.

If you hard reset the IPAQ it will reset back to 'as new'. You will need to do a clean reset. here are the instructions

Thanks Laura for your reply, unfortunately my iPAQ didn't come with Pocket
Outlook so where can I purchase??????

I thought I needed it to obtain my emails, unable to do so at the moment.
Have bought outlook express for my laptop and thought I woud be able to
syncronise my diary but then realised I needed the same package on my iPAQ.
Would appreciate help as new to hand held device. If this is not the method
please explain on how I obtain my emails whilst on the move.

EVERY iPAQ comes with Pocket Outlook. Click Start. See "Calendar",
"Contacts", "Inbox", "Notes", and "Tasks" on the menu? That's "Pocket
Outlook".

See the documentation that came with your iPAQ for instructions on how to
use the Calendar feature.

I am using Outlook 2003 under XP Pro. I am only interested in the
calendar feature. Outlook thinks it is the default email program even
though it has no email accounts. When I start my real email program
(Eudora), it reminds me it is not the default and I have to tell it to
become so.

I want to uncheck the option that tells Outlook to become the default
email program but it is grayed out when viewed from either my user
account or admin account. Suggestions please.

Have you tried setting things using IE?

Tools/Internet Options/Programs

Set it in IE and always leave Eudora set to check because Outlook will reset
itself as default when it installs new spam filters, which it will do if you
use automatic updating.
