IP4000 Duplex Printing Problems

I am aware of the issues concerning slow and light printing when using
automatic duplex, but I am having a different problem. Frequently, when I am
printing more than two sides (ie. more than one sheet), the font sizes and
colors get screwed up, and chunks of output are missing. Running WinXP. Any
ideas?

Thanks,
Pete

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver? Not that it
would necessarily help. . . but . . .

I had an interesting problem just this week with my iP4000. I'd send a
page to print but it wouldn't print, the job would just sit in the queue
(or however you spell it :-)). Nothing would print until I cancelled the
job. Then all of a sudden it would jump into action and print - "after"
I cancelled it!

I uninstalled and re-installed the driver but the problem remained. This
was obviously something else. But what? . . .

Then, like with so many appliances in my house, I decided to simply
unplug (for a few seconds) and replug the power cable (not the USB).
Call it a reset.

Now everything seems to be back to normal. Prints first time every time.
