ip resolution from mac address

Hi all,

I'm searching a tool to remotely find ip address of a host that I have the
mac address ?

Something like ping but for Mac address...

like arp or rarp ?

if it's not in the arp table, then query your router or dhcp server
(if there's a way to) -- they'll likely know

or do you expect to find a MAC address anywhere in the world?
