IP problem

Hello Everyone,

I have a server that is "multi homed" meaning it has 2 nics that reside on 2
different subnets. More specifically, 1 nic resides on our production
network, the other in our DMZ. All DMZ traffic is handled by adding
persistant routes to the machine. Problem is that when I log into the box,
I get an error message saying "IP problem" and showing the DMZ address.
There are no correspoding errors in the event viewer, and everything is
working great. How do I get rid of this error box?

Make sure the LAN nic is set as the first priority Nic.

Properties of Net' Places, Choose Advanced from top menu, choose Advanced
Settings from drop down menu. It should be obvious from there.

We found the problem. Our desktop division has a script that looks for IP
addresses. When it hits an address it doesn't reconginze, the error is
produced. What made it hard, was that the error had no way to indicate that
the script was the problem.
