Hey, thats strange, if i boot my computer with MSAS my network cant find
my ip adress. I can go to the internet, but the network icon in the
taskbar keeps searching.

BUT (No more butts Bart Simpson) when i boot the computer WITHOUT MSAS i
get normaly connected.

How did you boot the computer with MSAS?
I switch the computer on (for the test i swiched it off) and boot
normally, MSAS start from startupfolder. Network was already online.
(i hope this answers the question)

Hi Robert

Do you start MSAS from startupfolder ?? Do you mean
autostart folder or msconfig starts ?

Have you put MSAS main program within autostart ?

Oh, I understand what you mean. I guess if its causing the network
conflicts, the best thing to do is disable the gCAServ.exe on start up.
Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Start up (tab), under startup items, uncheck
gCAServ.exe and restart.

msconfig starts.

Nope.

To be more correct, i stopped it in MSAS->options->settings->startup
options and real time threat protection.

MSAS started up, but disabled.

MSAS started up, but disabled.

This started after the latest signature update.

Oke, but it goes then in selectif mode. (rough translation)

Confusing :-s

Did you want MSAS to be disabled or not start up on Windows startup? If its
not startup and system start up, it does not exist, there is a trade off.

Like i already wrote:

This worked

But i tried today :
I guess if its causing the network
conflicts, the best thing to do is disable the gCAServ.exe on start up.
Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Start up (tab), under startup items, uncheck
gCAServ.exe and restart.

This did not work

i also tried after following this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892350

but this did not work also.

It is not in my startup folder.
