The problem was (i found out) that MSAS consumes so much processortime
at the startup (with also other programms)that the DHCP is reacting slow.
So the internet (network) connection is already started BUT the ip is
missing. Maybe a timeout at the start will help.

I missed parts I and II.

This would be a bug, I think--it shouldn't be so processor intensive.

You might try a control panel, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update to see
whether that repair install will improve things.

Last week i posted about this.
Maybe you can search it back. At the end i wrote i tried a lot, nothing
worked. It is really slowing a the start thing down. I have also skype
(that those the same thing, but MSAS makes it worse)
I have also updates, netsh winsock reset, gatserv.exe excluded in
starting up. But nothing works.

Well, it still beta Robert and there is still a lot to be done. If it is
interfering with your work and PC performance, I would suggest uninstalling
it and wait until beta 2 arrives to see how well that works.

Hmpf, i dont want to critisize but i just make an observation.

I know this is a beta, that is the reason i tell it. Was it an original
programm than i would do other thing with it.

But it sounded like it was affecting whatever you were doing, so next best
thing to do would be uninstall beta 2 or a more stable build is released.

Huh, Beta 2 do i miss something. I am still on beta 1.
ps It is affecting my system, but when i trow it all away it wouldnt be
beta testing

But maybe my English is stil in Aplha stadium.....

Sorry, I meant uninstall beta 1 and wait until beta 2 or a more stable build
is available.

Hi Robert

This is strange beacuse DHCP is a service which starts
without login as I
understands it.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

What are your hardwarespecs ? I installed MSAS on a P3, 450
MHz, 256 RAM
and it was painful slow. On mine P4, 2,4 GHz 512MB RAM it
takes perhaps 15 seconds
to start everything.

What kind of connection ? xDSL ?

I ask my computertech what happened here. He said the exact same thing.
My DHCP was slowed down.

Here too, but is stayes. When i remove thing from startup to speed it up
then it work normal.
