To avoid pharming, I bypass DNS by using IP# in URL for banks. For
example,
my url for Juniper Bank is https://164.109.49.175/ .
I'm having trouble doing that for Discover Card. Right now I use
https://www.discovercard.com/cardmembersvcs/loginlogout/app/ac_main
If I do a nslookup on that or https://www.discovercard.com , I get:
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.0.1: Non-existent
domain
*** Default servers are not available
Server: UnKnown Address: 192.168.0.1
DNS request timed out. timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Request to UnKnown timed-out
Discovercard CS has not replied twice.
Your help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks- bye- Larry
Any advice is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
