IP config won't run

I'm able to access the Internet OK through my router and
modem but...

When I attempt to run the IP config utility to see what my
address is, I get the message, "Cannot access adapter
bindings registry key."

Also, when I attempt to view the TCP/IP properties, I get
the message, "In order to configure TCP/IP, you must
install and enable a network adapter card."

Any ideas?

This may help.
