Using a proxy does not improve your security. Rather than have your ISP
know to where you connect and the target site knowing from where you
connect, now that 3rd party proxy will know those details, a 3rd party
whom you likely haven't a clue as to who operates it or their plans
regarding any of the traffic and its content that passes through their
unregulated proxy.
