What I meant was when the person whose IP you are trying to find out is
using a proxy on port 1863, then it's impossible to do it

| Actually, all traffic goes through the Messenger servers on port 1863,
you don't need any
| "proxy". The only way you'll find their IP with netstat is if you're
doing a [direct]file
| transfer or some other P2P feature.

| Yes, with MSN Messenger 7 (beta) there is an option to connect directly
for IM purposes but
