IP addresses

Hi there folks,
Can any of you fine people tell me if i can trace an IP number or am i barking up wrong un.....i have a couple of hits from this address 92.etc.etc and it got through my firewall(Agnitum)... i have the firewall set to moderate-high which gives me a balance of speed and safety or so i thought!!
Any ideas anyone ??

IPs can be spoofed, tracing them is pretty much a waste of time.


It usually turns out to be your own ISP.

lads thanks for the links....i found out who those addresses belonged to and i spotted a page of questions about them on PCR....the main address belongs to Deploy Aramakai Technologies...a massive internet services company who apparently are responsible for controlling internet traffic ??....that IP tracker was cool though.
