recently a sever hosting websites for my company was blacklisted for
spam.therefore we had to move all our sites to a new server still
owned by the same provider .However our provider insists that we
retain the former IP address of the other server for all our
websites.How can this be done.
somebody said we had to configure primary and secondary dns. I really
need help as clients are on my neck

Websites don't have anything to do with Mail,...hence have nothing to do with
SPAM,...hence have nothing to do with Blacklists.

Blacklists don't contain Webservers,..they contain Mail Servers.

If you are on a Blacklist, you don't move your machines, you don't change your
addresses,...you fix the flaw that caused you to get your mail server on the
list,...and then you get yourself off the list.
