ip address

I have a toshiba satellite 1110. the system seems to keep losing the ip address and the only way i can get bacl online is to pull the power out of my modem and then reboot it

PLease help me.

Start---control panel---network conection---right click

your connection---properties---make sure the TCP/IP box
is checked---OK.then right click the connection again---
then repair,this will get you a IP address.If it doesn't
start---run---type in cmd---then in the box type in
ipconfig/release---then type in ipconfig/renew.That also
will renew an IP address.If that doesn't fix it call your
ISP they may be loosing you or doing service to there
equipment.
