ip address problem...no connectivity

I have Windows XP and all of a sudden none of my internet
connections work--wireless, cable or phone. The computer
shows the icon as alive and actually shows send capability
but no receiving capability. I can't access email or the
web. It keeps saying can't find server and trouble
finding ip address.

Any ideas?

If you have a firewall, try disabling it then try access again. If you are
then able to gain access, there is likely a setting your firewall that is
blocking access. If that is not the issue, be sure your antivirus software
is up to date and run a virus scan. Also, download, install and run Ad
