Hi,

What IP address does the client get when it obtains an IP automatically?
What device is acting as your DHCP server? Can other clients get IP
addresses from DHCP? After manually assigning the client an IP address can
you ping the DHCP server?

Thanks,

Hi,

when I write "ipconfig/all"

Autoconfiguration ip address : 169.254.161.130

Other clients can get ip addresses from DHCP.
DNS server : 10.1.2.3
After manually assigning ip address , for example when I write "ping
tpao.gov.tr",
I take " unknown host "

from other client machine , I take " reply from 10.1.2.3 "
I change ethernet card but not solve problem.

Thanks
Pervin.

There may be a simple explanation:

with your manual configuration you may not have the
correct default gateway configured.

for the automatic config is there a DHCP server enabled on
the network?

Regards
Dylan.
