Howdy,

I'm in desperate need of a utility that will monitor a system's IP address,
then send an email out to an external address if the IP address changes.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Bubba

Shouldn't be hard to code something up. Just
check the IP address at intervals if different
send email. In Linux this could be a simple
script. In Windows, a little more complicated.

This wouldn't be a newsgroup if we replied to
email addresses.

Unfortunately, I'm not a coder or I wouldn't have put the request out to
the group.

No, it wouldn't. However, you might have taken into consideration that I
didn't ASK anyone to reply to my address, merely that it might have been
the sig line of my newsreader.

Next time, maybe think before you jump.
