iomega zip drive letter will not change!

we have recently upgraded from 98 to 2000 pro on our LAN.
somehow win2k pro will not allow us to change drive
letters for our iomega zip drive, in other forums ive read
they say to download the service packs, but my question
is , is there another way around this without doing to
updated service packs.

You'll want to post the details of what you're trying and what happens when
you try, then someone may be able to help you. To simply say "it doesn't
work!" tells us nothing.
 
first of all i didnt say simply it doesn't work. What
other info could you possibly need. plain and simple the
drive letter for the zip drive will not change using any
application located on win2k. as far as detail, do i
really need to tell you how to configure drive letters?
