I don't know whats wrong. Every so often (too often) my
PC spontaneously flashes to a blank screen that
reads "Beginning dump of physical memory...". After it
does this completely annihilating anything that was new
that had not yet been saved it switches to a new blank
screen that reads "Operating system not found". After
this appears there is no way to proceed any further
without manually turning the PC off by depressing the
power button. I've tried pressing <enter>, <cntrl, alt,
+ del>, <cntrl, esc>, <alt, f4>...etc. Any key that is
pushes only yields another printed line of "Operating
system not found". Please help!!!!!! Any suggestions?

Try the following:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click System.

3. On the Advanced tab, click "Startup and Recovery".

4. Click to clear the Automatically Reboot check box, and then click OK.

This may at least display a bugcheck screen so you can find the STOP error
that is being generated.
