My XP computers automatically change my MSN password (by
adding several digits), making MSN and the internet
inaccessible. The problem is not with MSN because I can
access it properly from all of my Windows 98 computers
without this problem. What's up?

David;
Are you referring to the extra dots added in the password field?
That is by design to conceal the actual number of characters to
someone else by the computer.
Ignore them and login.
