INVOICE NUMBERS

I AM USING EXCEL 2000. I AM USING A INVOICE TEMPLATE THAT I OPEN AND SAVE EACH TIME I WANT TO USE IT. I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME DO A FORMULA OR SOMETHING THAT WAY WHEN I OPEN MY INVOICE A DIFFERENT INVOICE NUMBER WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE INSERTED WITHOUT HAVING TO DO IT MANUALLY?

think you're shouting at us and it makes the post way more difficult to
read)
however, as to your question, if you'ld like to email me direct i have a
sample workbook that you can look at / use / modify whatever that
demonstrates how to do this & a few extra things.

july i found your anwser in this forum im in the same situation ive been in
business for four month now and im growing i need excell to automaticly
number all my documents so i can keep track can you send me some info on how
to automaticly insert numbers on invoices and other docs
