Can anyone please help me on this, for some reason I am viewing some web
sites and there are parts missing, if I view the same site on another
computer there are more options than I can view from my computer. It is hard
to explain IE:
when I look at the website www.loot.com there is no link to sell an item
when viewed from my pc, when I use my pc at work there is a link to sell and
item. I am getting this on lots of sites, have I got something blocked that
should not be???
That is if you can make sence of what I am asking :)

got a firewall with ad block. then thats the problem.some
web masters suck in their writing of code and make proper
links coded as ads.

Ahhhhh this sounds good.... how would I get to that and change it?? would
this have happened from the new service pack download??

It looks to me that the site may have recently done a revision.
The help pages mention a Sell button in the navigation bar
but instead I see a link labeled "Place an ad" which probably
does the same thing. Of course, as the help for the Sell button
explains when you're not logged in or not registered you're first
sent to a page to do that.

Try pressing Ctrl-F5 on both machines to be sure that they are
both seeing the latest version of the page.

Pressing Ctrl-F5 is a way to refresh a page without referring to any
cached elements. If you are getting this with "lots of sites" it could
mean that your TIF is corrupt (e.g. stuck at some point in the past
and not updating properly). . Then, rather than refresh individual
pages you probably should clear the TIF completely. I prefer to do
this without using the IE Tools menu so I can shut down all users
of the TIF before clearing it.

E.g. close all IE and OE windows and verify with Task Manager
that iexplore.exe and msimn.exe are not active processes.
Then Run... (press Win-R and enter:) control inetcpl.cpl
and use its Delete Files... button (including all offline content).

Good luck
