I've been working on a navigation problem that's had me tearing my hair out
(see:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...ffice-access&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=en-us&m=1&p=1 ).

Anyway I think Marshall Barton may have solved it for me by telling me that
the control has to go in the form header or footer (call me stupid if you
like it seems this is a fairly obvious point). Now, I'm probably missing
something else reeeeally obvious here, but I'm unable to see whether this
solves the problem or not as, although the header and footer are there like a
pair of sore thumbs in Design View, as soon as I switch into Form View they
disappear from view. I've tried adjusting the section heights, the window
size and, in desperation, the settings on my toaster but all to no avail.
Please help me I would quite like to reach 24 with some hair left.

In desperation,

Jake

Have you definitely selected form header and not page header? If so, is its
visible property set to Yes? Have you tried plugging the toaster into
another outlet?

You're supposed to use the Form Header, NOT the Page Header.

Also make sure the Form Header 'Display When' property is set to
Always.

Thankyou, you have saved my scalp!
