hey. i've lost assiociation with wmplayer for mp3.
I tried to do "open with" and find it in program files/windows media player/
but there was no wmplayer.exe there.
So i went to program files (x86)/w m p/ and found it. clicked there but the
association hasn't been set. So i tried copying from prog files x86/w m p/
to progr files/w m p/ and here is a supprise!
"Do you want to overwrite wmplayer.exe 62kb with wmplayer 64kb. My answer:
yes.
And there it goes: You need permission to perform this action.
Everything done on account with administration priviliges and UAC off.
What is going on?

probably one of those sandbox issues, to protect the system maybe? I think
there is quite a few layers of security protecting the system this time
around, maybe to render all previous viruses useless? Maybe to render them
all useless? I think there is an option in the Control Panel that has a list
of what filetypes open with what program...I'll check later.
