My Outlook calendar is tells me that a recurring appointment that I used to have -- first Tuesday of every month at 8:30 -- is still present, even though the appointment foedn't show up on the outlook calendar. For example, July 6 is completely blank, but if I try to schedule an appointment for 8:30, it tells me that the appointment conflicts with another meeting. Does anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Try opening Outlook using the ".../CleanViews" switch. The
link(s) below will give you the instructions on how to use it,
depending upon which version you use:

Good suggestion, but the switch to use
was /cleanfreebusy. That worked; thanks for the help.
